Here's a new trailer that NCSoft revealed yesterday. This is what they are hoping Aion will look like in the (hopefully near) future! Right now the game is lacking a lot of content, but their future plans in my opinion look very promising.

-improved graphics and textures
-weather changes and seasons
-new weapons and skills
-housing
-mounts
-a third class?
-swimming and underwater exploration!
-capital city pvp battles
plus much more!

I hear some people that have canceled their subs are thinking of joining again once the new content goes live.

So, after watching the trailer what do you all think? Is it something you are excited about? If no, what are your reasons?

I have to say that the video definitely makes me even more interested in the game. I like the ideas they've put forwards and definitely would like to see expanded flight and swimming/underwater exploration.

Ayase had this to say in his twitter, "The vision trailer is not a specific patch/expansion - it's a vision of what we're hoping to get out there in the future."

Ayase also stated on another MMO website, "I just want to reply and say that I think my tweets have been misinterpreted. I will admit that they're short and it's easy for such an unfortunate misinterpretation to happen, but I will also have it said that I'm not claiming this not to be in-game content, I'm merely saying it's not a specific expansion or patch (at this point)."

Take it as you will, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
