How about using "alt"

For example,"this new character will be my alt".

Or "camping".

Ah yeah, "alt" is a good one.

lol and rofl aren't really gaming terms so much as general internet slang.

two that I never even saw until I started playing Aion was GTG (as in "good to go" instead of "got to go") and CC (crowd control, meaning use your root or sleep spell)
