DO NOT GET THAT COMP (aka uber piece of shit).
Singlecore CPU, shooting yourself in the foot, not being able to play anything from the last 3 years. 1GB DDR1 RAM, shooting yourself again in the foot, enjoy your slow boot up and hitting the hard limit on RAM of most games. ATI 256mb card, once again, shooting yourself in the foot. No number so you might have gotten an x300 card, which doesn't run anything either. 120GB HDD, I think this would be the best part in it, it'll probably will be 5400rpm and a low quality brand. TL;DR: NOT worth it! What's your maximum budget? (If you take this post as offensive, it isn't. I have met some people that remain ignorant/dumb and it became a habit of me saying you shouldn't at this tone. :/) Edit: the one labeling this as a gaming system should be shot in the head immediately as well, unless that page is made around 2003/2004.

Well that's pretty much the spec I just got rid of and it plays most (not all) games fine.
I used it for Fallout 3, Left4Dead 2, Sims 3, etc. You have to turn the settings down, but they work. Graphics aren't the be all and end all. I would get very playable framerates (20-40). |

If you buy a gaming system today you at least expect it to run games at max at at least a resolution of 1680*1050 without having to worry you aren't able to run the game coming out the next day. It is outdated and isn't worth calling a gaming system. Buying this 'gaming' pc means you have been scammed.

Also, there's the $500 budget computers, but you have to update 2 years(like normal) and have to deal with high and mid settings. @ OP You won't get a new gaming computer for less than $500.

So it won't play all the games which come out next year. So what? It's supposed to be very budget. If it's a question of getting a console or that, I'd get that any day. To be honest, most of the best games around today would run on a machine with less specs than that; it just depends what you call a game. I think that it's totally legitimate to call that a 'very low budget gaming pc', and if anyone was thinking of buying one, I can tell you that I have had (and would still continue to have) a lot of fun playing a lot of games on my similarly specced PC. **** Crysis, I'll play Civ 4. |

True, BGLamb, but I wouldn't recommend anyone that build today, wether it's only for browsing the web or playing low req video games.
My main issue is that it's being called a gaming PC. You'd end up upgrading the next week to keep up with the rapid development of hardware and software. If my maths don't let me down, 1600*900 is less strain on the GPU, so it wouldn't bother much.

ATI radeon 9000 was the video card, and the point of this pc was to run games on low specs and be affordable to everybody i belive, i mean not everyone can afford a $800 to $3200 dollar "gaming computer/pc". i think this was the point that they was getting over. I can see where your mad at it being called a gaming pc. But as BGlamb said it doesnt have to be top of the line and play the newest and best games out there.to be a gaming pc also if the person that bought this played "FREE MMO GAMES" like this computer was built for it could play most of them on High requiements and the rest on LOW TO MID requiements. i mean my system right now is nothing i'm running a 3.0 ghz single core cpu with 256 mb of RD ram. and only a Gefore fx5200 256mb video card, but i can play Warrock, soldier front and Operation 7 with no lag and faster then most people.plus Kira Gaming Systems is new
