The way to save money is to buy a mid end cards and upgrade every few years when newer technology comes out like directx 11.

Although your CPU might be bottlenecking that GPU.

what do i need to buy to not let it bottleneck lol?

first a new motherboard
second a better CPU like a Amd phenom II x4 or x3 build
Third 4 GB's of DDR3 ram

Agreed, also, save up about $100 more and you can upgrade to basically whatever is consider budget gaming computer. You will also need another copy of Windows since it's tied to your MoBo, unless you want to pirate.

Oh I haven't bought the windows 7, i'm just putting it out there that I will be getting it.

doesn't your school private you wiht a free copy of windows 7? i'm in computer studies, so i get a copy of windows 7 for free altohough i plan on buying more copies for the other pc in my household.
