Anybody else having problems with the tutorial digging quest? Digging is extremely hard with the lag.

lol, i was one of the first few to log on
wipped through the tutorial in a flash ^^ (just to get the lvl 1 gears)

do you stop the bar at a certain point? or hold it down?

uhhh... the bar is like this
[........................|...^^^...]

that area where the arrow points to is where you want your point to stay at, just press and release it accordingly
after a few tries, you'll get the hang of it

What lag? I haven't had a single bit of lag yet..
Anyways, hold down button until you're til' past the little tick, and let go, then hold down again, and then keep clicking until you're past the the tick, as it comes naturally by that point.

probally my comp. i stop it perfectly after the little tick, and i get no items. like 30 trys and nothing.

Make sure you're like near shadows, or behind rock, or under trees...
Works for me.

You could just be having bad luck. Do you get a message saying "No item found" and you guys starts crying? Also, you can't just hold the button when digging. You have to click to keep the meter past the tick but not all the way full.
