Fighting Spirit / Hajime no Ippo

Plot Summary: Ippo, a timid highschooler, is one day saved from being beaten up by Takamura, a boxer. Enthralled by Takamura's skills Ippo begins to learn boxing, soon finding love for the sport and a drive to challenge the boxing world.

Personal opnion: I never thought in my life I would enjoy a boxing anime to this extent. It has an amazing story with hilarious characters, each with their own indepth story and background. The fights are not just some freeze-frame pokemon action fighting scenes, they invovle lush movements in the art work. For any fan of action animes I suggest you take this for a spin.

Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger

Episodes: 26, Includeing 1 OVA

Plot Summary: Ippo Makunouchi continues his boxing career and his goal on knowing the meaning of being strong, and the desire on fighting his idol Ichiro Miyata once again. Along him are pro boxers Takamura, Aoki and Kimura that each one of them aspire to their own dreams.

Personal opnion: This anime did meet up to the expectations of its predecessor 100%. Putting the focus on one of the show favorites Takamura it gives you a taste of the heavy weight boxing devision. It may have been sorter then the previous series but it did give viewers the same great experince.

Hajime no Ippo: Season 3

Third season planning IS confirmed by voice actor.

It was reported at Otakon 2009 that the director of the first series is working on a new movie

I did this cause I felt there was a lack of awesome anime and we needed something for people to relize its greatness. This is a VERY under rated anime just cause it invovles boxing.

Yea iam watching this anime atm, all because I played Ippo the game on the PS2 at my mates house and I totally loved that game

, I also like the anime till now, don't know what will come but i'll see

3rd season was announced long time ago O.O as i remember ... iam not a fan of this series so i didn't pay much attention ... and posting streaming sites is against the rules i think ? but oh well

and its not such ant epic anime well considering that it has 2seasons and few ovas makes it good one and that 3rd season is confirmed .. but other than that its just an sport anime about boxing involving some life drama and comedy ... there are more animes like this one but with one season only....

EDIT: oh yeh i forgot to mention fights ... Ye they are epic !
