Kenshin I gotta admit I kinda felt the same way after, I just cannot believe how beautiful the landscape was, these are those type of movies you are happy they make long (unlike some that are long because they have to follow a book). I don't know if people should go to this expecting a great story, I thought the story was beautiful in how it was told but of course the one down side anyone can find (reviewers) is that the story is to common, but what would one expect? 90% of movies that are made now adays have plainly obvious storylines. This movie just makes you think, which is weird for me to do after an "action" movie.

I'm calling lies on this, sorry.

Anyway, movie was beautiful. Plot was dire. It was moving art, not a good movie.

Just came back from the cinema from watching it. Was slow, used cheap devices, characters sucked, it lacked real filming which impacted the actor's abilities greatly, was very predictable, the graphics were typical (a lot more could've been done ot enhance the textures).

Nah, it was okay. I was tired whilst watching it, so I didn't really have the patience for it. It didn't really meet my expectations though.

Anybody who wants to pay money to watch it in 3D should be castrated. 3D film is a cancer; it's cheap, completely misses the point of a movie, and it's just a money-grabber.

Normally I'd agree on the 3D thing, but this movie really does it right. It's not about shit jumping out at you like 3D normally is, it's about feeling like your actually there and it's done wonderfully. I can't imagine if I had watched it in 2D and the amount of enjoyment I would have missed out on.

As for the rest, guess that's just your taste. Personally it was the most stunning movie I've seen in my life by hundreds of miles.

As good as this was, movie of the year still goes to District 9. I agree with Norrin, the plot was hardly worth shouting about. It WAS pretty though.

Just got back from seeing it.

Yeah, the story wasn't the best, but the visuals were ****ing amazing.

I found myself saying "holy shit" every five minutes.

All I can say is that I was completely blown away. Best movie I have seen in a very long time.

I saw it last night... jeez man. I don't think there was one part of the movie where my mouth wasn't gaped open. That was a masterpiece in modern filmmaking, very good watch.

I call shenanigans on this post. It seems more troll post than someone who actually saw it.
