Megaten (Shin Megami Tensei Imagine: Online) get's my vote, it's definitely impressive for a f2p; and i would have to say that even though Aion is definitely a huge contender and extremely beautiful, i don't feel it was as anticipated, being it a NCsoft title, i think people knew what to expect the whole time.

Megaten on the other hand is something we haven't seen before in online games (unless your a Japanese enthusiast and have been playing the jap version), and also on that note, it's actually our first true Japanese massive multiplayer online game, so if anything can be consider more anticipated, it would be a game that anime fans and Asian gaming enthusiast have been craving for years; and this game is the real deal, it's content is amazing, it's quests feel like those of a P2P, and the challenge bar is beyond what most casual gamers are used to, and it's combat system is something you probably won't see in any other MMO right now; though i can't out-right explain it simply, it's something people would have to experience for themselves.

Oh, and do i have to mention again that it's a SMT title?
