Brief Description:

RPG Basketball is a text based RPG game based around the game of Basketball. The user creates a player that they use to play 1 on 1 games against other users around the world. There is team play, as well as special tournaments.


Target aim:

We plan to be the #1 Basketball MMORPG game on the net.

Compensation:

At the moment the only compensation is free stuff that other users will have to pay for inside the game. Possible that other positions will open up at a later time and date as the game grows and we need to hire staff.


Technology:

This is an in browser game, it is all you will need to play along with a valid email account to receive your activation code.


Talent needed:

We need people that are knowledgeable in basketball, as well as a great imagination for helping with the creation of special items that players can use in the game. And people that have a talent for spotting spelling and grammar errors with the text we have on the site.

Additional Info:

We are in need of people to help test out the next stage of the game. Team play, all testers will be able to sign up at the site and once we are ready to begin the testing. Those testers that signed up will receive a team, how many teams we have to start will depend solely on how many users we get to sign up. Each team will consist of 10 players from around the world, all beta testers that sign up during this time will receive a free team to keep at the end of testing.

Been quite busy working on the issues with the 1 on 1 and gaining experience through matches. That seems to be working great now and the matches seem to be quite natural and as close to a realistic game that we can get.

Have set up a forum to aide in the bug reporting, seems some people were confused on where to send them. So the forums are up and running now

Changed the layout some, fixed some spelling and grammar mistakes that was found. Took advise to get rid of the Google ads. At least for now.

Stamina is returned every 1 every 20 minutes at the moment, you can be attacked as much as you have money in your pocket and your bet can be covered.

Will be working on getting the 1 on 1 tournament going this week, and the 3 on 3. Need to be able to make NPC players in case we need them to fill out the brackets. The tournament will be setup like the College Basketball Tournament with brackets. 3 on 3 will be setup so that you can join a group that is formed or form your own.
