if you setup vista right its better then xp

vista vs xp (and a bit of windows 7) from my experience

i cant do anything on vista due its protection
you all said xp wasnt protected enough
now you say its overprotected
pick you choice, at least you can disable the UAC and install on top of that another antivirus
if youre a real protection freak, leave the UAC on, it can run everything with it although you may need to wait some time when downloaded a big install file (why i dont know, vista probably scans it)

games that dont run
xp: 0
vista now: 0
vista back in the days: 2 with tweaking, 1 without
xp back in the days: same scenario as vista, **** xp! im sticking to 98 because xp cant run shit! now they say **** vista! im sticking to xp because vista cant run shit! WRONG it can now even without tweaking

digital rights manager:
i never got a message saying i cant install a particular game or app

you dont own vista:
go buy a game... do you own it? no, you only got a license to install it, same thing with vista

vista needs 5 terrabyte ram a quantum processor and 4 ati 4870's in crossfire to run the bare minimum!
look at the hardware they sell now, its way above the limit to run vista decent

friend ran games on an amd le1650 (singlecore 2.4ghz cpu), 2gb ram and an ati x1550
he ran bioshock and hellgate london without a single problem

vista is bugged as hell!
in the beginning it did, so did xp
sp1 solved alot of problems and has left a small amount of bugs

yes! but there still are bugs!

every program has bugs, no program will be ever bug free
xp still has bugs, so does the latest linux and macs
kill an old bug, a new one pops up
your mmo/game has them, your media player has them, your drivers have them
there always will be one, wether you like it or not

dont bother with vista, wait for windows 7

but it isnt worth the wait if you only want to modabble kernel
the current version wont have the kernel however it MIGHT get it
but for now, it wont

so what! w7 will pwn the shit out of vista!
w7= vista repackaged, there isnt THAT much difference, especially since the kernel wont be coming with it at his moment
