I do like MS. I've gone back and forth on it for years, sometimes I'd been using a higher level character that my friend and I leveled (no worries, I don't do it anymore), sometimes with my own character that I'd start.

Well, the last time I played MS, I started to have fun with it-I made a new Hero char and got to all of maybe level 16 before I started having major problems with my thunder Pirate or whatever....I had just about no mesos at all, and I couldn't do any quests without buying potions, because the monsters I had to kill killed me extremely quickly. Everything that I could conceivably kill in my level range just arsed me quite hard. It was not much fun. At all. I dumped all my money into pots and even that wasn't enough to keep me going, honestly.

Was my class the problem? Am I forced to go rely on party questing or something? I want to solo.

so my question is, if I want to play this game and solo most of the time:
A) is there a class suggestible for efficient soloing?

I am pretty much on a newb account, i.e no expendable extra mesos whatsoever, am I gonna just be funked for pots? this is a pretty consistent problem for me

PQing is typically a faster and easier way of leveling up without the need of so many pots so your at a loss if your trying to solo and not spend much unless you do a solo cleric or I/L wizard, but really it's horribly boring to play any game solo let alone Maplestory.

leveling is alot easier now.

Any wizard can solo effectively and fast.

to the OP i'd suggest trying to level either a wizard or a assassin (im not to sure on the new classes though?)

though a wizard will be easier money wise

not gonna lie maplestory was my love for three years but it got tedious with leveling...then it became to easy with all the new pqs....you pq all the way to lvl 95 and your broke once u get there haha

im thinking to play mapple story though i want to try other games, currently i am playing a 2.5d game which is quite good and cute...

PQing in henesys suck............. unless you are funded, you have no money at all in the end.

Maple got a lot easier with all the new content that has been released. Aran simply are great at the low levels with their high HP and their low MP usage that their skills use (plus they don't use hotkeys to use a skill).

With all the new junk out right now, you can get to level 30 in <4 days
