Technically you don't really need a "gaming" mouse for gaming. Most laser mice will give you accurate enough tracking and DPI to perform well enough at most games. The only real benefits of gaming mice are extra buttons and special features such as switching DPI on the fly.

I'm a genuine lefty. I kick left, write with my left, etc, but every since day one, I've used my right hand for mousing and thank god I did. My suggestion to you is to get used to using right handed mice because the majority, if not all of the good gaming mice are right handed as previously stated.

Nah. A guaranteed sell to 10% of the market is worth a production line. It's not like it requires the R&D or anything, and if there's no competition, then a guaranteed 10% market share is pretty darn good. Most gaming mice don't sell to 10% of users.
