Default Expansions of the start

Hello
Im going to subscribe to world of warcraft for the first time, but i want to know if i should buy all the expansions of the start or wait until i max out the level then buy the expansions
I'm currently going to buy the world of warcraft battlechest which comes with WoW and WoW:TBC and a couple of books.
Much appreciated

I say you should just get the battlechest if you're going to get TBC anyway. Also, its a good idea to get Wrath of the Lich King because of the city that is in there. The city is called Dalaran and it basically has everything you need.

If you didn't buy it yet, want me to recruit you? It benefits us both. I really need the free months right now, because my parents don't want to pay anymore. If you do want me to recruit you, I am a level 72 night elf(Alliance) and I can help you with many things ingame.

Not sure what your status is, but it would be better to wait until you're at the level or close to the level to get the expansion.

You got battlechest which was WoW + TBC, which is fine because TBC also comes with new races. I'd wait to get WotLK until you're about 65-70, as the level you can go to northrend is 68, but it's better if you go at 70, since theres more than enough quests in outlands to do so.

Or you could get WotLK before 55, so you can make a deathknight...But deathknights are becoming the new huntards (players that seemingly don't have a clue on what they're doing. The people that play the class are branded idiots, true or not.) And as such, theres a TON of people playing them.

Logic demands that I ask why? Sure once you get to 80 you can get some heirloom gear to make leveling alts faster, but why spend your 1st experience getting to 80 learning the ends of outs of a class just to drop it for another one?

Also most of the enjoyable stuff now is at level 80, like Heroics, Arena PvP, and Raiding.

I bought each exapansion like the level before, which worked out well. It was a little annoying because I got Grand Master Skinning a little later than I should have, because I didn't get WOTLK soon enough so I didn't get credit for some of the things I was skinning.
