I just reinstalled Vista 32-bit Home Basic on my new computer and I can't connect to the internet, the problem is it says that i don't have the drivers for it, and to connect to the internet to download the drivers whenever i can't even connect to the internet, but i have found a Windows.old folder that has all the old same system settings including my program files, which i wanna boot up my computer from that folder, ive already looked in BIOS, but there was nothing there. Does anyone know how to replace that folder as the actual Windows folder?

Windows.old is a backup where you can retrieve your old files from. Booting from that is afaik not possible.

Search on the internet for the drivers for your network card.

I can't because i don't have ****ing internet, that's my problem. And i don't have a flash drive or CDs or anything to transfer it from this computer.

EDIT: Fixed the problem, just made windows search in my old windows folder to find the driver, and installed it. Thanks for the help, Snow.

Than how are you posting here?

Don't you have a cd with drivers? If you don't (or without having a hidden backup partition if you have a dell/HP/etc pc) you got ripped off.
I also suggest going to the store to buy a 4gb flash drive as you can get one for 10usd.

edit: never though of having it do like that yet. x.x
And I thought I already knew alot of PCs. :/

about the transferring of files, you could've just networked your computers..
