Project 365, a photo a day, for 365 days.
Project 365 is a photography project in which, at least one photo is taken a day. It is a way to practice photography and build a nice portfolio. It is a good way to embrace creativity on a daily basis, and also a good way to say "pick up your damn camera at least once a day."
I started this project Jan. 1st 2010, as a mark of the new decade. But, if any of you are interested in this, you can start whenever you like!

I'm also blogging it http://itzemily.tumblr.com/ but flickr offers higher quality pics etc. The tumblr's just a nice way to look through.

Oh yeah, I'm located in Toronto, so if you want to go photo shooting, or need your portrait taken, facebook me at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Emily-...y/183574826886 (be a fan, it makes me happy. :P) rates are low (or free) cause I'm building a portfolio. Website's coming soon, so the sketchy facebook will have to do, for now.

& I posted here, cause I don't think this is graphics. it's art - photography.

I've always WANTED to do this, but I've never had a camera to do so...Maybe I'll get one from Lockerz and do it :P

I actually wanted to join in on this but I don't have one of those fancy shmancy Nikon cameras.

You don't NEED a fancy camera.
Any camera will do.

/ maybe if you start, you'll fall in love with photography.
Then who knows, you'll HAVE to gather yourself to buy one.

WARNING: expensive hobby. but well worth it.

I mean no offense when I say this but if you want good photos then you need to go outside.

There are only so many photos you can take inside your house. If your project already only makes up two photos of you, your computer, an orange peel and your French homework then either you've run out of ideas or simply have none. The attempt at light painting was valiant, though. It's something I've never tried so I can't get after you for that.

Toronto is probably a great town for getting photos so if you want to do well on this project then get outside and go to some parks and stuff.

That said, this is a great idea for you if it gets you excited and motivated for doing something you're passionate about. All power to you! Have fun for me while I'm stuck at home because of a blizzard on the outside and a cold on the inside. =/ it's been months since I last picked up the camera.

I agree with you on that. but surprisingly, a lot of those weren't taken inside my house. But it's also half because I'm so busy, I don't have the time to go outside everyday. The french print, wasn't exactly a pic of my homework. I just liked that phrase. hahaha.

Toronto is a great place. therefore, I will do up the weekends.

just for you. Though it's snowing crap here also.

Downtown Toronto. can't get that in my bedroom! haha. beautiful place.

Thanks a lot for the comments though.

Btw, Check my photo stream. A lot of the shots are more interesting than just my 365 (which has like 6 pics :P)
