so I've looked pretty hard but its impossible for one person to know EVERY mmo out there so im now turning to you. This is what im looking for...
a game similar to that of "The Universal" but in a finished state and with some sort of community, even if its only 10 people online... something. The Universal reminds me of a game which is player customizable as far as creating a "home" and having everything... "Open". The community is also close to the dev team. 2D (as long as its good) and 3D games welcome, I prefer having a downloadable client (not browser based). No text based games please ![]() Thanks for your time, hopefully you can find me something. |

never got into wurm online. it was really blocky and hard to move or really do anything. also it sounds like you have to pay to actually play the game.
I guess my search is still on. A better discription of an ideal game would be something similar to Garrys mod but in an open and persistant world like entropia universe or wow. (i dont really like wow) Last edited by eggblade1; 02-04-2010 at 01:29 AM. |

Second Life is pretty good for what you want. Theres many player created "worlds" to explore, from cyber punk cities to old west towns and what not. Theres combat systems people have made too. Theres a few places that are recreations of certain videogame worlds, like final fantasy 7's Midgar
I could type 100 pages about it. If you'd be interested you could PM me. I could even help you in the game if you decide to play. I make weapons and clothing and sell them, but I've done (or tried) just about everything before that though. Everything in SL is done by the players, you do what you want, when you want. Anything you could think of doing in RL can probably be done in SL. Theres even hookers in the game people actually pay for. Theres dance clubs, shopping malls, space stations, tropical islands, snowy mountains, train stations, huge castles, everything. Its said that if you played SL for 5 years you'd never see everything in it because theres too many places. Thousands of places are created everyday. Even the devlopers havent seen everything. So if you're interested, I could show you the ropes. I have a love hate relationship with SL. Its allowed me to make some extra money in RL, but usually it can be a pain because of the people that play it just like in real life I suppose, lol.
