This is actually a fairly large blow to what could have helped privatize exploration/colonization from a commercial stand point of the moon. For a long time an underlying effect of this program would have been further expansion of space tourism and also the acquisition of resources from space that we are starting to lack here on earth. For the longest time people believed that the moon was totally devoid of water, but that was proven wrong.

Whoever supports Obama on this is simply stupid.
Seriously... NASA stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration. What are they gonna call it now? NATF? National Association of Terrestrial Failure? NASA was made for space not this shit. I thought I was going to the moon in my lifetime, guess I'm wrong. |
