Ive beem playing project torque for almost a year. it is unfair at best. anyone that purchases ap is guaranteed an unfair advantage. the ap cars are faster and handle better than the rp cars.

PT is NOT geared twards the free player that solely relies on rp points to purchase and upgrade cars etc. These rp points are distributed at a minimum. it is a struggle to purchase cars parts and upgrades etc. The price of cars, upgrades, backpack items, parts etc are steep in comparison to the payout or rather purse for competing. The rp cars are barely drivable even when fully upgraded and for sure is NOT competitive if up against an ap player with an ap car.

The more i play pt the more i realize that the free players are just filler for the field giving the ap player someone they can race and beat on a regular basis.

PT in game is having a 50% rush hour implying that if we vote that there will be more such bonuses, which really only benifit the free/rp players, IF we vote here on this site. I'm not beleiving it for a minute as soon as they get their 1000 votes they will forget about any 50% bonuses. actually a 100% bonus may allow a rp player to compete with ap players.

PT boasts it is a free online mmo and on the surface is. however to compete or upgrade and tune your cars to the point they can challange a paying player Is impossible.

Project torque has issues that need to be addressed! The payouts are a big dissapontment. I understand a grind of some sort in a mmo but a couple hundred rp points (if your lucky) for a win? WTF? when your looking at a couple hundred thousand rp points worth of upgrades, parts, balancers etc.

I wouldn't vote pt if my life depended on it! PT just hasn't won that kind of loyalty.
