Kinda makes you wish he'd written more than just.. I think 3 books. Catcher in the Rye sucked, but I still think he was a good writer. Well, I guess he died doing what he loved.. lurking. Er.. I think what I mean to say, as a man who lived a long, lonely life on top of a mountain, alienating everyone around him, as internet users, we can all appreciate J.D. Salinger.

Although he did not write much literature, a mere collection of short stories on top of his acclaimed "Catcher in the Rye," he has definitely influenced some of the writers of our day.
R.I.P. Mr. Salinger.
