If one goes on a quest that only asks for 20 items then you got one in excess, how will you get rid of that excess item. I have excess items like rosary beads and armor shards but they cannot be traded so I cannot sell them at the market. Will they stay in my inventory forever?

if you already finish the quest and you some of the excess quest item for that quest, you can just throw it away
