as I understand it, the point of not having post count in the lounge is so that we don't have people posting in there just to increase their post count. people complain about how dumb the lounge is now, just imagine how much worse it could be.

oh and also this way post count is more representative of how much you've actually contributed to the board (ie. informative posts)
