I don't think it'll run. The minimum says an Intel C2D @2ghz(yes I know AMD equivalent, etc.) but every PC gamer, or at least the ones who buy games would know that the minimum is always a lie... And the original C2D are superior to your current CPU.

Cant my current CPU even handle low settings(with all performance killer settings OFF)

I could run Global agenda with textures, model settings at high and all settings turned off which kills performance. The average fps i get is around 30-40 fps, but I bet BC2 is far more demanding.
Im saving for a gaming rig, though. I'm far from having the money collected, should take a half year

How much did you save up so far? Depending on how much you saved, you can build a gaming rig that will crush this game when it's fully optimized...

Around 600 euros. That should be around 798,64 USD.
It may be anough, but if I'm buying a rig, I want to build one which can last a few years.

Regardless of what other people might say, you should be able to run the game on low/medium at around 30fps on DirectX9 mode, just don't expect AA, HDR etc.

If your going for a new machine, it's always best (and cheaper) to build yourself, also get a big case so you have some room for any needed upgrades in the future.

That should be enough, depending on which country you live in. You will have to reuse some parts like DVD drive, 9600GT, and maybe HDD if you feel it's big enough for you.
