((This is a story that I have been working on, I am in the process of making it into a manga series, but for right now I'm going to use it as an rp. Hope everyone likes it! ))


Do you believe in guardian angels, the beings said to protect you from evil, and keep you safe. Or do you believe in a person's inner demon, a protector that guides you into wrong doing. Or do you not believe, you think that it's all a fairy tale. Some twisted story books fiction, well, you are wrong. Guardian Angels are very much present, along with inner demons. There is a constant struggle between the angels, known as guardians, and the evil creatures of the underworld. What is the reason of there conflict? you might ask, well, they're fighting over you. You are special though, you are not easily swayed into wrong doing like the rest. You are one of the chosen, the mark on your wrist is proof of that. You have the power to embrace your inner spirit, to fight off the evil that threatens to swallow the world whole. You are one of the chosen, you are a Guardian.

Introduction:
This rp is set in a fictional world called Becilia, it mostly takes place in the city of Ishia, and the the astral plane called Midoru Yochi.

The Guardians: You are one of few chosen people that were meant from birth to be Guardians. When in the real realm you appear normal, the only thing that's different is that you have the symbol of the Guardians on your right wrist. But when you enter Midoru Yochi, the spirit plane, you are able to access your Kanshisha, the spirit within you. When in this form, you have the power to fight the demons that are attempting to cross over into Becilia.

Ranks:
Rikuru-((Persons name)) To: The lowest rank, every beginner Guardian starts off as a Rikuru-To.
Shouii-((Persons name)) To: The middle rank, this is the rank when you start to be trusted with more responsibility.
Kyaputen-((Persons name)) To: This is the rank of captain, this is when you're able to lead other rookie Guardians in battle.
Kirikorosu-To: This is the rank of Guardian, you are able to lead teams of Kyaputen-To in battle, along with that you now have the power to slay demons of extreme power alone.
Hogosha-((Persons name))Mitsukai: The highest rank possible, someone with this rank is the leader of the Guardians. There has only been four Hogosha- total in the few thousands of years that the Guardians have been around. The latest is Hogosha-Mitsukai.

Kanshisha: These are the spirits within every person. They hold power and endless strangth that is said to only be accessed by one of the dead, or a Guardian.

Seishou-Ken: Every Guardian has a weapon that he/she uses in combat. That weapon, is powered by Kanshisha. Most of the weapons themselves is made out of pure Kanshisha to model the users spirit. Weapons cannot be taken over into the real world, they only become visible when in the Midoru Yochi.

Becilia: Becilia is home to many towns and cities, it's lush beautiful landscape makes it a perfect place to live.

Ishia: A modern day city with a large population, it is a city that usually keeps up with the times, resulting in a hectic and sometimes never quite life. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...acky2k/3-1.jpg((This is kind of what it looks like.))

Midoru Yochi: This is the spirit realm, it is the limbo between life and death. Spirits and demons alike wonder the never ending plain that is Midoru Yochi. This is were you will fight off demons, and help the lost spirits that traverse the spirit realm. The entrance to the spirit is through a large gate that stands hundreds of miles high. Only guardians and the ones that are meant to enter the world of Becilia can go through it freely.

Demons: Demons are creatures and monstosities from hell itself. They're whole objective is to reach Becilia, were they will be able to possess and devour a persons soul. These will be the main enemies in this rp, demons can come in various shapes and sizes. Some can appear like children, while others take on the forms of beasts. Demons can be very hard to kill, thus making it take usually two to three Guardians to eliminate a strong demon.

Weapon: Shan-Ame: A long sword that resembles a katana. It is around the same size and weight of a katana, except for at it's tip there's a sort of fishhook type pice that sticks out, allowing for added damage when stabbed into, or sliced into an enemy. Despite it's very gruesome purpose, Shan-Ame is very beautiful. It has elegant carvings of raindrops running along the wood of the handle, along with the same design on the dull flat sides of the blade. At the bottom of the handle is an inscription that reads, "Beautiful Rain......"


Appearance:

Edit: Has a purple raindrop tattoed under his right eye.
Edit: Doesn't have a tattoo on his left shoulder.

Summary: Rayne was raised in the bustling city of Ishia since birth. He was born there, raised there, and has lived there for most of his life. Since birth he has always been different, he has avoided others and has kept to himself. He seems so out of place in the bustling city life of Ishia. At the age of 17 Rayne became aware of his..... gift. Since then he has trained hard, and devoted his life to keep the very demons that haunt his dreams just that, a dream. Or at least a dream to all the unsuspecting citizens that live in Becilia. He quickly rose through the ranks until he became the head of his own team. He currently lives by himself in the Ishia College dorms.


Guardian Spirit Powers:
Flight-Guardians and demons alike can move freely through the air, whether to fight in combat, or to travel faster.
Unmatched Strength, Speed, Agility, Durability, etc.-Through the use of the Kanshisha the Guardians have nearly limitless power that increases there physical aspects like strength, and speed.
Chii- The guardians are able to access the spirit energy through there Kanshisha, that allows them to use the visible spirit energy chii ((It's like chakra in Naruto)) in combat. ((You can fire it like a bolt of energy etc. Like in dragon ball z. You can charge it into your sword to make it stronger. You can make shields out of it, just be creative!))


((Also, when the guardians are in the Midoru Yochi they each wear a short white overcoat, that only covers part of there back, that has the guardians symbol upon it. It resembles a shawl but it's made of a thicker cloth material. By the way the guardians symbol is.....))

Weapon: Staff of Spirits- A light purple hue with darkness swirling within a pole-like structure gives it a hypnotic texture. At the bottom is a light blue orb attached to three rings that hold it to the pole. The same rings are seen at the top, which leads to a zig-zagging, long blade that is obsidian in hue on one side, a heavenly white on the other. Upon the golden rings at the top and 1/4 of the way down the pole is a crimson bow that resembles dried blood. Instead of requiring an arrow, though, a hole can be seen in the center of it, opposite of the red string, where spiritual energy is put in. In order to create the spiritual arrows, all Nanzuri has to do is hold onto a red string bond together by several other string and imbue her spiritual energy within it.

Appearance:

THERE ARE ALTERATIONS TO THE OUTFIT!!!
Gray (grey), short hair flutters freely around Nanzuri's head, blending into thick bangs on each side of her face. Due to the unnatural way her hair grew, strands of hair can be seen poking out of the flow of her hair and at the top of her head. Beneath the first layer of hair is another set, which comes to Nanzuri's shoulder blades. Her upbeat, scarlet colored eyes nearly contrasts with her hair, but the joyful smile seen on her face lets people know she has a kind and friendly demeanor. Nanzuri's fair complexion has a tint of color in it, tying together the different hues in her hair and eyes.
As for her attire, Nanzuri likes to wear a short, white jacket outlined in blue. Beneath that is another short sleeve cloth, this time in the form of a gray (grey) shirt matching the same color of her hair. On the shirt is a white bird appearing as if it is about to take flight. Beneath Nanzuri's form-fitting shirt is are white shorts coming to her knees with a blue and gold belt etched into it. Upon Nanzuri's feet are gray (grey) boots that stop a few inches before her knees, at which a golden, thick ring with ornamental symbols on it can be seen.
All of her accessories, sleeves, earrings, etc. all appear the same as they do in the picture.

Summary: Nanzuri grew up in the quiet village of Moslia, which exists in a thick forest outside of Ishia. Although the process of getting there is a pain, due to the condensed woods that surround Moslia, the village can be found in a vast, open clearing. To the south is a large waterfall attached to a rocky hillside that eventually leads to mountains. The water that is offered from the waterfall is clean and leads down a long path that will eventually arrive to an ocean, or so the people of Moslia believe. Further south of the waterfall are spots of heated water next to shops; in order to use them, you have to pay one of the shops to enjoy the relaxing hot springs. Other than the hot springs and fresh water provided by the waterfall, Moslia doesn't have anything else to offer. The people are hospitable and the village itself is rather calm.
Despite the life Nanzuri had in Moslia, she found herself seeking adventure and fame. Unable to cope with the tranquil life that her family took for granted, Nanzuri decided to leave her little brother, loving mother, and kindred father behind, she headed to Ishia. Along her way, Nanzuri came face to face with the problems outside of Moslia: demons. She also descovered that her birthmark was a lot more special than she had imagined it to be.

((Accepted, I like the way you added in Moslia btw. And anyways the spirits are like a spiritual force, they are a reserve of spirtual energy that can only be tapped into by Guardians, or dead spirits. The reason is that the Kanshisha is meant to give the dead the strength and stamina needed to make the long journey ot the afterlife, were as the Guardians take advantage of that energy prematurely to give them immense power to fight off the demons. Weapon: Ash uses a long black katana called Odachi. Ash's Odachi is 9 1/2 feet in length with a sharp blade that is 6 inches in width and 2 inches thick. Ash's sword has religious markings on the blade that stretch from the collar down to the tip of the blade. The religious markings are a spell, a spell offering prayer to God. For every life Ash takes with the sword God will consume the deceased and purify their spirit. Ash's Odachi can also freely change length and either decrease to no less then 3 feet and increase to no more then 12 feet in length. 9 feet is the Odachi's natural length and it stays at this length when not being used.

Summary: Ash lives in the city of Ishia. He has lived in Ishia since he can remember, growing up in the loud bustling noise since childhood. Ash has no known family and is a bum that bums off anyone that will help him out. He has been living with an older woman named Tsuki that takes care of him for intimate favors. Ash doesn't mind pleasing the woman as long as she feeds him, and Tsuki does this very well.

Originally Ash's family was a group of traveling monks that would travel the continent visiting shrines to offer prayers to God but Ash barely knows his lineage and lives his life ignorant of his true potential. Though a few months ago Ash discovered a strange power he still doesn't understand. The power born from within him sparks an interest in his heart and he decides to leave his easy lifestyle behind to discover what exactly he is becoming, and what fate has in store. His sword pulls him in the right direction guiding him to what destiny holds.

Summary
Revun was always in this city... this... large bursting city. He remembers vaguely of his parents but only images, he was possibly one or two when those images appeared, and the images of the streets began at age 3. He was small, smaller than most kids but he was a survivor, one of the best at that. He was 12 when he found his blade. A street vendor was selling items, letting him browse through man. But there was only one that appealed to him. Raktic. "Never will a soul slayed by this sword Rest in peace" the man said to him, smiling. "I will give you one item from my shop.... and that is it" Revun was suprised at the generosity but took the sword. He walked a couple steps and turned to the man to thank him, But him along with his shop. Was gone. Revun practiced with the sword and knows its secrets, inside and out. He keeps in side his jacket, on his back supported by two straps, he can pull it out on a seconds notice. As he traveled the streets at age 16, he was pulled by something, he felt a voice calling him I'ts Started.... was all he heard, as a tattoo was burnt into his skin. He has been following the pathways his blade has directed ever since, trying to find someone who knew what was going on with him, why this sword chose him, why this tattoo was on his arm, Why has he been able to survive on the streets for so long?

Summary: Chael was born in Ishia. In a quite wealthy family. He had a good life, a normal life. For a while. He was not very social, but he had some friends. But he knew he was different from other. He felt special. When he got older, he felt a need to do something else. He had to find his own way. So he left his home at the age of 8, although, not alone. He had a relative with him. His uncle, who was his godfather. They travelled and explored together, as Chael grew.

Two of these blades. One with a black handle and one with a white handle.
Nibai (Twofold) Yaiba (Blade) - Two separated blades that were once one. It used to be a sword with on both sides of the handle a blade but something separated them in two making Nibai and Yaiba. Nibai has a white handle and Yaiba a black one.
Kayla can engulfe the blades with her chii to make them stronger. ((You know like Sasuke uses his lighting power to enhance his blade.))

Appearance:
Kayla wears her blades crossed on her back with the handles ending above her shoulders. Her eyes are very dark brown with faint traces of green in it. She stands on average high, around 1,70 m. Her body is fragile and well-build which makes her a good acrobat or fast fighter.

Summary:
Kayla doesn’t have a home. She and her family used to travel around the land of Becilia with a traveling circus/theater/shop or anything else you can think of. Kayla’s family contains her father, mother, two little brothers of twelve and ten, two little sisters of four and two, the grandmother and grandfather from her father’s side. Then there is her uncle and aunt with their son and daughter from fourteen and six and so you could talk on and on about her family but the fact stays that she is the eldest child in the family and thus had to do the most for the family. She had to cook most of the time, help with the cars, feet the horses, do the laundry and of course help by the business and the circus.
Kayla is an good acrobat due her fragile body and she loved to perform on stage, she is a great actress who can make anything up. But while she grew older Kayla turned more and more sad. She never had friends or someone to play with nor were there any, you know, ‘boys’ around. They always had to move on and on and on. And one day when she was 16, Kayla decided that it was enough that she had to find her own way in life so she left to find out more about the world. In Ishia she for the first time made friends but they were thieves and learned her about the art of thieving and spying for which she perfect. Currently she is looked for a real job to earn some money.
