my landlord at uni owned about 100 properties around the city and raked in about £1mill a year.

we paid for our own bills incl: water, electricity, gas, internet and telephone. the landlord covered repairs to the premises. they checked up on us once in the two years that we lived there.

but honestly mate you have to know what you are doing. you have to know about the market and when is a good time to buy and such. and you have to know if you live in an area where places for rent are going to earn you money. your best chances are if you live near a university because then you can rent to students, and students have sh*tloads of money.

Gee 100 properties? I wonder why he's making over a million annually.

A single house gets sold for $600,000.00... 100 properties would be 8 figures, yeah maybe 30 million... maybe more maybe less.

If he has 25 rooms (instead of thousands), has rent set at $600/m, and keeps it completely full for a year he'll make like... $130,000 profit after taxes, bills, upkeep, and so on... Split that between 3 people, cause mom and dad need food too.

Also my estimate could be extremely wrong, so don't quote me on this.

if it was so easy ... then everyone would do such thing ... u need alot of plans ... how to make the place more comfortable for people ... and that includes all kinds of people ... also buy all kinds of things and etc ... its not an easy job as it looks in animes .. where they only clean and make food
