Default Birthday Time
Hello, my birthday is coming up soon and I am not sure what to get. I already pre-ordered Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I am probably going to get Portal too. I played the demo for it and thought it was great. I am also going to get a new keyboard and mouse. This leaves just enough for one more game. I don't know what to get so I am looking for suggestions. I was thinking something else like Portal. I think Steam calls them Indie games. I don't play MMORPGs. I would list the games I already have but it would be massive. Thank you in advance.

While Portal's fun, it isn't really repetitive material. :/
It's pretty short and monotone. ><

I second Alivada on AvP. Try the demo if you haven't already.

Portal is one of the best games ever made, it is short, but it is extremely well made. I'm sure you can get it for $5 or less. I couldn't make myself get BF2:BC because of the lack of planes (the only thing I found enjoyable in BF2).

What systems are you looking for? Just PC?

Wario ware and Mariokart are the only two games I play on that, and only when other people are over, and bevvies are involved, and we're bored. It's kind of a terrible dissapointment of a system (I was hyped, it let me down, just like Spore).

Apparently NMH / NMH2 = good. SSBB almost made me cry it was so bad.
