i pay for a 100mbit down / 10mb up but only get 45-50 down
and it cost around 350sek/month, tahts around 47 U.S. dollars

I don't know how much we pay, my mam and dad pay it but I get;

6144/384 (kbps)

I download at about 750kb/s but after 5pm most days it drops to 100kb/s I bloody hate my internet provider but my parents won't change

Ish, all numbers are generally rough estimates. Uploading to my private server in Texas (from Oregon) I have uploaded as fast as 4 megs a second before. You get some overhead on your lines but I've also downloaded a file from CCP (in London) as fast as 6 megs a second, but it was only a brief burst for about 4 minutes.
