Just got myself 25000 Honorable Kills

After further testing I have found that in Wintergrasp the standard non elite guards do not give xp or an honor kill but the elites ones give xp, so looks like I am unable to do WG... unless I create a team and we only kill the players in WG.

And... 74 look out 75 here I come, also 11 pieces of level 80 pvp gear waiting got my Battlemaster's rage today.

Indeed looks like I have ruined my goal of "Just One PvE Kill" to 80 and this is how I did it... (29/03/10)

I'd been toying with the idea of going to Wintergrasp so I could get some Marks (the new shoulders would match my set perfectly), so I realize there maybe an issue with the guards and other npcs maybe giving PvE kills, so I get on my level 75 mage and go kill a normal guard (the ones found on road), the guard didn't give my mage any XP (it still registered a kill just not a xp/honor granting kill), so I thought ok if that's how it works let's trying the elites, the elites turned out to give XP, so my idea was to go to Wintergrasp and kill the guards on road to rank up and get Marks, so I get to Wintergrasp as a battle starts, I leave the raid to avoid getting any credit for elite guard kills, I help kill a guy near the middle bridge then proceed to kill guard guard...... guess what.... during the battle the guards give xp.... so I get my second PvE kill.... I contacted blizz to ask if they could remove the xp credit and the stat credit for the extra xp granting kill and I get this back..

So looks like I'm stuck with "Just Two PvE Kills", now do I rename the guild? or just leave it as the same name as technically it was in a pvp area? I'm sure as hell not reroll this guy, I may start a new one though...

What ya think?


(and yes I know I shouldn't of tried what I did but I believed that I wouldn't get credit..)

Great.. I've made it even worse, I tried it again and this time only hit other players and some how I got 2 more "Total kills that grant experience or honor" but didn't get the honorable kills to match...

I've email Blizz again hopefully they can rollback my character or something, otherwise I'm going to have to make an exception for Wintergrasp kills, or rename the guild and stop going Wintergrasp, or start a fresh char...

I tried to get Blizz to restore me back to 6 hours ago (anywhere before I got the pve kills) but they respond with this:

So I will try my hardest not to get anymore PvE kills and the ones I have received in Wintergrasp recently in my mind still count as PvP kills as the happened in Wintergrasp during a battle, the last two were kills that gained honor not xp, but blizz doesn’t separate the two.

I've been looking over my stats, it's become apparent to me that they don't match up
Total Honorable Kills 27941

But yet I have:
Battleground Honorable Kills 27880
World Honorable Kills 53
The total there is 27933

Where are the other 8 kills?
I think I found 5 in achievement "City Defender"

Still 3 missing?

Are those the 3 I got in Wintergrasp? 1 npc 2 players? as I've seen after another game of Wintergrasp, the player kills seem to go into "World Honorable Kills" but yet the figures still don't match.

After seeing this I'm going to continue to do Wintergrasp, I will only hit players, any extra "kills that grant experience or honor" will be honor kill or accidental npc tags, I still say in my opinion that I have only had "Just One PvE Kill" and will continue to 80, Wintergrasp is one of my beloved PvP areas and I'll try my hardest not to touch any npcs, I will go as far as to go solo or have a small team devoted to player kills, but I will not skip Wintergrasp and I will only enter into combat there when a battle is on.

Dont delete any, you can use each mark to get 185 honor.

Statistics aren't always something to depend on. I have had teams with personal rating over 2850, but my statistics do not show this.

Yeah I kept them all and did the hand ins, 1607 in total about 297k honor all up, about to buy my 12th lvl 80 pvp piece today

Update
Just bought my 12th piece of level 80 PvP gear [Medallion of the Horde] I’m pretty much finished buying pieces with honor, only thing now I need to get are the WG shoulders and do some arena for a 2hander and 1 hander and shield.

And we're done, now I have to take a rest all these battle have worn me out! Thanks again to Pis-Mug'thol went Disc on last game!! Was a little unfair but I chucked my 80 gear and pwned some peeps before we won.
