Well, the problem here is, I'm trying to work with the font i have, and these are just my 2 things with text i ever made, so you shouldn't be expecting me doing really good.

Also, by the gradient I mean this.

I think the purpose of his version was to create a light effect that's actually kind of popular ( dunno how to call it, but I see it often), but yeah if the color would have been oposed, it would have been better to use a gradient, but that's not the case, his version is nice too.

You could always try using renders to make it look more appealing.




Or you could use splatter brushes and cool textures to create texture on the text.
