I lol'd.
"Sonic doesn't need A Story" is good too. http://alexdaymusic.com/sonic/ As for discussion. What's everyone think about current video games? Obviously not as good as old school but why were we so intrigued by such simplistic games before and the industry now thinks we need tons of detail and story to impress. Also, I don't think it's been posted. I searched. |

False.
Sonic Adventure is the best Sonic game of all time. I think it used to be a lot easier to satisfy gamers because it was still a relatively new thing. I mean everyone can enjoy the timeless classics like Mario and The Simpsons: Bart vs. the Space Mutants even though they are lacking any kind of real plot, but sometimes we want something a little deeper. |

I haven't played any of the newer games, but I felt like Gold and Silver were large improvements over Red and Blue. Although Red and Blue will always hold a place in my heart, if only because of nostalgia.
Although Sonic turned into crap once it became 3D. |

I liked Sonic Dark Chronicles or whatever for the DS..
It reminded me of those RPG games which gave me that nostalgia. Add that with Sonic characters, and it isn't THAT bad. Just like Paper Mario. Except, we all know how epic Paper Mario is. |
