Default having a bad internal problem

You guys remember the thread i made about selling my WoW account? Well, When i sold it for 400, i spent it immediately on pc upgrades. New DDR3 Motherboard, Ram, Phenom 2 processor, and cheap 5d 5770 hawk from ebay.

so uh today i got a email from paypal, and basically the dude who paid for my acct actually was a IDENTITY THEFT and stole that money by paying for it with someone else acct.

first thing i do is call paypal, and basically they told me to just keep the items (seeing as ive alreayd put them togetheR) and to just respond to the issue they posted on my acct, and that their money was returned.

ok so i do that, and im waiting for my acct to drop this -400 balance, i can't but think i just stole 400 dollars from someone ( i also got my WoW acct back). I really don't want this WoW acct, and i don't want to sell it again to risk the same problem, plus paypal might send me to jail or some shit next time.

i have no idea waht to do

Hrmm, I thought paypal didn't release the funds until the transaction was complete and everybody was happy. Unless you did, and then found out the other guy's account was hacked. Or he had buyer's regret about paying for a WoW account and filed a complaint.

Get one of your good friends from real life to let you borrow their paypal account to resell it there?

no, what happened was. when they paid me. maybe..10 mins later, a flag was thrown and paypal themselves held the money, the secod time they deposited the money in the account, it stayed. they were like "We're sorry our bank acct is full and cannot withdraw anymore so i will use my friend" so im like "ok".

so they put the money in again, and it stayed. I bought the computer parts and stuff, about a day later paypal sent a email saying THAT money has been held, but it was too late to claim so my acct became -200 negative. so i called paypal, the customer rep told me that i am not in the wrong because I did not know, and he instructed me to respond to the dispute, and to contact blizzard and get my account back (he seemed seriously educated in what was going on. im guessing it happens alot). And i did so.

but now if i attempt to sell the account AGAIN the same shit might happen, so im going to just sell it again on a different acct, and will not care what happens after that.

Good going, and don't feel guilty you didn't directly steal from them you didn't even know, as far as you know it was legit.

Keep the parts, stop worrying and resell the WoW account.

If you are really that uneasy about it, give the account to me. I'll sell it.

I'm pretty sure selling your WoW account is against the ToS in the first place, but it doesn't matter as long as it isn't against the law. Worse comes to worse, you'll have to return the parts, but don't worry too much.
