I shouldn't be asking here, but I'm going to the hospital tomaro to go under minor testing to get this figured out..
If my mothers side of the family has Low Blood Sugar and fathers has Dia. and I'm getting into states where I can't focus, or physically perform at the level I normally am capable of, until I eat some form of food what are the chances I have one of the above ? I'll do well for a few hours, but than my focus disappears, and I'm not able to do work out as well as I normally am. It started about a week ago, and I'm wondering right now, what I may have. It's getting to a point where I need it looked at. |

Your best bet is to get a glucosemeter and check every 2 hours. If your sugar gets too high (above 160mg/dl, no clue about the other system) after you have eaten something with sugar, you'll have diabetes.
Grab a bottle of coke or 2 is the quickest way I can think of. If you don't you'll just have low blood sugar.

Are you fat? (not kidding, depends on what kind of diabetes you might have)
Have you lost any weight? Ussually people with diabetes (the juvenile one), lose weight due to your body trying to burn off the sugur, which is ussually taken care of by your pancreas. |

I'm like 5 pounds over weight for me height or some sht, but not in fat. I work out every other day, but I was small as a child.
I took about three weeks of lifting, gained a little bit of fat, but nothing to call me "Fat" about =\. |

Diabetes also has hypoglycemias. I can know because I've had enough of them. :o
The only way I can figure out to find out is to test if he gets too much sugar and keeps a high value for a while.

Sounds like you get blood sugar spikes, which is caused by unhealthy eating, simple carbohydrates among other things.
The body is made to run on mostly protein and fat. The carbs you eat must be complex and slow to digest. You need to get rid of sugar, white bread, anything made with enriched flour, artificial sweeteners, fructose/glucose and all their different forms and names, etc. It's not rocket science, all you Americans are sick because you eat crap. Stop eating crap, and eat healthy stuff in smaller proportions. The doctor can't do jack shit for you. If you do have a health problem he's going to put you on meds, you're going to become dependent on them and ruin yourself in medicare or direct med fees. Ka-ching you give big pharma what they want. If you want an idea of what "healthy" eating looks like. A sample of my day is buckwheat crêpes for breakfast, nuts for a snack, a banana and fish for lunch, and a ratatouille for diner. I only drink tea or water. I don't eat sweets, poultry, meat or dairy products. And I cook everything by myself. |

I eat very healthy, stop making stupid assumptions.
Generally, my daily menu consists of; French toast w/o syrup for breakfast. Some form of fried rice for lunch, or stir fry. Dinner is typically a kind of chicken, rice or noodles with some green veggie. I 'll normally have a salad if I have time but if not I have a couple sticks of Cellary or something for a snack. Everything is cooked myself, I rarely eat out and drink almost no soda. The most unhealthy part of my diet is my coffee. |
