Even most heavy raiders make a lot of alts, so I wouldn't doubt that at least 90% of the playerbase has been in a similar situation of going back to that old content. I know the top guild on one of my servers raids 1 day a week, only allows 30 actual individuals, but has 60 80's in the guild(so 1 alt each).

I still fail to see what this complaint was about. It's nearing two years since the last expansion(nov 2008), some games put out two expansions a year.
