so i posted this on the blizzard forums and didnt even get a decent answer, i hope it goes better here.

currently i am a lvl 43 fire mage, decent attack and such but i feel that since WotLK most of my attacks wich used to deal a huge blow suddenly got weakened dramaticly, pyroblast for one, normally i would do +1k non crit with this one (and cast time is 5 seconds) and suddenly i do about 500-800 dmg non crit, now im looking for a respec to ether arcane or frost

ive heard something about the two but still dont know what to take

-arcane: mana goes down dramaticly fast, but the attacks are very strong
-frost: mana friendly, weaker then fire but keeps enemy's at a distance

prefferably id use it for PvE, PvE/PvP spec is also good

what also bothers me is that i bought pyroblast rank upgrades, does respeccing remove pyroblast completely so that ive spent gold on nothing in a matter of speaking?
