Hey guys I'm currently looking for a fast paced mmorts.. just started playing armada online and loved it. I would prefer it to be sci-fi based, but it is not needed.

Criteria needed to meet my request (not all have to be met):
F2P and not CS dependent, i dont mind if there is a CS i just dont want it to be dependent on it
Building things doesn't take minutes or hours to build (evony is an example of what i DONT want) <--this is the only thing i hugely require of my request
Nice PvP
Good PvE/PvAI
Can be 2D but if so, it has to be top-down.
Graphics dont matter that much, as long as gameplay is unique

If you got anything good then throw it here. remember, it doesnt HAVE to be sci-fi, thats just what i prefer.

For 10-bucks or a little more get Starcraft. Undoubtedly one of the best RTS games of all time.

Yeah... I highly-recommend Star Control, cuz it is awesome in general.

If you are viewing the sci-fi MMORTS genre, you might as well look Boundless Planet. War of Conquest is ok too.
But games nowadays have more refined mechanics/balancing. I still say that Star Control is great. Though it would be difficult to play over the internet (since it's hotseat-multiplayer).

Sins Of A Solar Empire...starts really slow but ramps up to near insanity when you have hundreds upon hundreds of ships attacking 100+ different planets at the same time.
