Ok so I play some perfect world and i think its ok BUT it gets rly boring after a while. Honesly my goal is kinda looking for an mmo similar (not a clone) to .Hack
but one is still kinda hard to find. I liked the class specific skills on RF online but it kinda wasn't enough since the skills on that game are all tied together...like all the mage classes use the exact same skills but some class specific had like freezing, blinding, teleport escaping which is rly cool! I want an mmo with interesting skills like that :-D (the community on that game was empty too!). As far as graphics, not too anime ish plz and must be 3D. Hope I gave enough specifics!

Guild Wars had the most interesting skills-system ever, due to its focus on use for PvP, as well as the skill-capture feature. I never got to play dotHack. Turf Battles looked like it had an o.k. skills-system. I liked Trickster's just because of the music. Lost Saga's skill-system is nice, because there are over 20 classes to choose from, each class has a unique skillset, and you can switch classes Instantly during combat. Takes a lot of practice.
I've heard good things about Everquest II. Heh. There is a Nodiatis banner here. Try that if you just want to pore over skill-trees... It was a nice browser-based break from 3D MMOs. Cabal and Rohan are said to have amazing animations... But I personally love the combat-animations from 'Puppet Guardian' ![]() Angels Online had a better than average skill tree also! |
