It isn't new, it's the latest viral crap. Women's rights are all getting their panties in a bunch because they just found out Japan makes lots of hentai games that portray rape, the most popular one they seem to referring to is a canceled one called RapeLay.

They'd shit bricks if they saw 4chan.

Shit like this aien't new.

Mainstream people have recently discovered this and are currently trying to fight against it, but probably won't be able to do much due to the fact that Japan has been creating these sorts of things years before Western countries even fathomed the idea.
