Default Movie Recommendations

I have been watching some movies that I happen to have skipped over the years and found out that i have been missing out on many.

I wanted to start a thread where people recommend films to the members here and we just all trade info on great films.

Just a simple explanation of the film name, and genre.

For example I just got done watching the film The Insider (1999).
The film is based on true events with minor differences and is a thriller in my opinion.

Most of us know that large corporations (especially the tobacco industry) has enough money to throw around to get what they want.
With enough money the truth can be covered up.

I liked this film because it did a great job of keeping me interested even if the whole story was a simple topic of the tobacco industry trying to get a former employee to keep quiet.

It shows people who are ignorant of this area of law and news media that there are many things money and power can corrupt.

But I think most of us know that with enough money and power the law doesn't mean anything.

So everyone try to give out good movie recommendations in case someone might enjoy that genre and watch it.

Raising Arizona

It has Nicolas Cage, and is actually a decent movie.

The Running Man - Action

I am a bit of a Arnold buff, but only for his earlier works. This one along with Total Recall are really good and enjoyable movies.
