It's funny because the chinese, got dominated by the japanese in ww2, who only had a few hundred thousand in the army.

Its all about technology.(Modern Warfare)
I guess you could say that china lacks technology.
America could easily take out any army, with its airplanes, and weapons. The only reason we're so soft in Iraq is because it is in urban environments, with civilians, and scattered, small groups of enemies.

Here is the problem with China & world domination:

People are terrified of the Chinese military because their numbers are so large. But the main issue about China and their definate failure for world domination is their technology. They are about +30 years behind the US & Britain. Every year, our technology is getting better while Chinas is deteriorating with time.

Our weapons have better accuracy & stopping power, and the equipment we wear is getting better as time goes on. Sure, the technology they currently have like cellphones, etc, etc. is pretty good, but their military technology is inferior. Their numbers would drop 10x faster than ours if we went to war.

China is still using old AK models from WW2 & ones that were used in the Korean War. The newest model is the AK-74. China can't afford it.

Also our allies would be Canada, Great Britain, & France. I'm an American but I have to say Canadas infantry is top tier. They're really good.

Actually, no. Besides the fact that there were no AKs used in WW2...China was at one point a mass producer of their own variant of the AK-47, namely the Type 56.

Also, the AK-74 isn't technically the "newest model" and isn't particularly more expensive to produce than the 47. China stopped using their "older" AK variant in the 80's replacing it with the Type 81/87 and have since introduced the QBZ-95 along with their proprietary cartridges.

However lacking you may find their military capability, to paint the picture that they're using worn out hand me downs would be misleading.

Even this is the case that their so called "fire power" is trying to keep up with that of the US, their technology still, is inferior.

Not really worried about China's army. The US and Russia are still sitting on enough nuclear weapons to turn the planet into a Walmart parking lot if anyone gets to carried away.
