I have played or at least tried so many games and am having a hard time finding one that really sticks with me well now.
Musts: 3d good graphics (need not be "the best", but at least pretty nice) decent quest system decent community (don't want to play if I am the only person in a zone for days) PvP only in specified areas or servers (am tired of games where my little lvl 10 gets pk'd over and over by high lvl's who are "bored", content is more important to me than pvp) not musts but would be a bonus: decent gathering system housing (although that is unlikely) mounts (would be great if not cash shop, but that is very few and far between) I will check out any games suggested, and sorry ahead of time if I do not reply a lot (I get sidetracked). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SAY WoW, Runescape or GuildWars!!! |

I did RoM for a while, but the movement about drove me nutty. Other than that it was pretty decent.... but slow? Not even sure slow is the word I am looking for, but needless to say I didn't stay too terribly long, maybe a few weeks.

You could try Allods and or Aika, What you ask for is a bit hard for an mmorpg because alot of the don't really have a nice quest system.

I may give Allods a shot, although not too sure on the airship idea, and they are more limited than a lot of games in the race/class area (only one race per class has always kinda bugged me).---------------- ok edit on this one, tried it but uninstalled it within 20 minutes. Could be a good game (graphics and stuff are really nice) but once again too many restrictions on race/class type stuff and I did not like the idea that basic attacks are more like a skill (I prefer to keep attacking once I choose the target, not have to click every hit and wait for a cooldown on top of it). Could be a great game, just not my thing. Something a bit similar could be ok.
Aika is way too PvP oriented for what I am looking for. Quests, and even graphics I am willing to deal with, but the PvP thing is major for me... Dueling/challenging is one thing but free roam PvP ruins a game more often than not. Broke down and tried Aika as well. Has a lot of potential, especially with the PvE server, but they need to do some updates/fixes or I won't go back. "Disappearing" NPC's???? Sorry but switching servers just to talk to a required NPC was nuts, not to mention the quests need a lot of work. Nice gameplay and everything else though. Will definately give it another shot if they ever do some good fixes. Soooo.... still looking. Currently kind of playing Cloud Nine, it's cute, fairly fun even if a bit laggy at times (odd how I can lag on these cutsey games and not on EQ or LOTRO).
