To set the skill to a certain direction click on the sword icon at the lower left. Skills will be in the second tab.

I actually did make a new character just to get the part I skipped but now there'll be no need.
After dealing with a lot of personal issues today, I am finally free to play a little bit. I'll be the dude standing around and visiting everything in town to see what it all does
