After reviewing this game an 8.1, I'm re-reviewing it and giving it a 8.7. Why? Well this game is free. It takes the cake for free games. It still gives that drive if you can pay the money to give you stuff other's dont have unless they spend the money. The game itself is amazing, especially for a free game. It's a cross between Lineage 2 and Diablo. You use potions while your leveling, mobs seem to drop them easily. They have lots of gm quizes. This game may be VERY grinding friendly. However what sets this apart from WoW and Lineage 2 is on this game instead of resting and gaining xp bonuses or instead of gaining xp bonuses from other things...Your gaining it the more you level. Therefore, it makes you not want to quit. I was sitting there last night and grinding, it kept saying you have earned alot! Then I would hit start on the drawing thing and it would say, exp, and then I would get an exp bonus every kill. It kept accumalating and going up. Before I knew it in a few hours, I was getting a ton more xp then when I started. Not to mention I ended up getting a gold bar and sold it for 12million gold from a fortune case, what luck! This game is worth every minute I spend on it and I'm looking foward to it's future. The community isn't great because it's full of kids who think they are "it"....or kids who think they can kill your kills and then threaten you...it's funny. But you just get use to it and ignore them. There are some good gamers on this community though, don't get me wrong. I think this game will go far and has alot of potentiol. The gm's have gm quizes and events and keep the game going. The good thing is, this game doesn't stop giving you bonuses. It's so easy to gain money. If you spend a day grinding, I guarantee by the end of the day you will be gaining ALOT more then you where at the start of the day. It's not because you gained a few levels, it's simply because you keep getting bonuses and more and more. That's how their system works. If pvp is more your style, put a bounty on and go at it with people. PVP is pretty decent in this game. Don't get caught in the mix until higher levels though.
Also another good quality is when you make a character you can play that character on any server of your choosing. If server 8 is lagging and has a lame community, go to another server and play on it. That's the great thing about it as well, I atleast enjoy that. Sometimes you get near a crowd near your grinding spot that you don't like, You just go onto another server then bam...your good to go. The leveling can seem slow at first, but bear with it and keep going, it will go faster and faster. I suggest atleast trying this game out. I played World of Warcraft for 1 year and a half and had 5 level 60's, it's all about epic items and 24/7 instances now. I have a full-time job and can't do that kindof stuff anymore, therefore I quit it and came here. Now, this game just came out of beta which makes it even better. No players have yet hit the maxed level, atleast that I know of. I think there is a few level 70's or so. 80 is the max level. I have also played Lineage 2 and many other games for long periods of times. Ranging from Neocron,Asheron's Call, and Guild Wars as well. You can't compare games like WoW to this game, since this game is free, but this game sure is a great adventure. It's more for the casual gamer. Give it a shot! Hope you found my review helpful.
