Wild Planet (KR) CBT Trial Report Wild Planet, a military shooter game developed by Actoz Soft, a Korean MMO developer, is expected to be released officially this year. Recently, the first closed beta test of Wild Planet has just come to a conclusion. A warmhearted player Stan has shared us what he found about Wild Planet from his experience in this CBT. He mainly introduced some basic things about Wild Planet, such as characters, factions, classes, controls and the innovative system-Real-time Quest System. Stan also revealed his feelings and opinions about the game. Hope you enjoy it. Below is the main content of the article by Stan. My Feelings Wild Planet is a MMORPG which combines both shooting and action elements together though it mainly features shooting. Players can attempt to dodge attacks from opponents. Players will play from the third person sight using keyboard and mouse to control. The controls are not so difficult to get familiar with. When facing a melee-based enemy, you can drop back first and then shoot. When facing ranged skill-based enemies, you'd better first attempt to dodge their attacks before you shoot at them. Even though shooting is the main gameplay of Wild Planet, there are also melee weapons in the game so that players can enjoy melee combats. When taking damage, the character's green health bar (above the red health bar) will first be shortened. Only after the green health bar is empty, the red bar can be shortened. If the green health bar is not full, the character's health won't be restored automatically and the character can only be healed by healing potions. However, there is a 1-minute cooldown to use a healing potion. Because I also joined the test of West and East Online during the first closed beta test of Wild Planet, I approximately spent only 2 days in playing Wild Planet and I even have not yet got in touch with class transfer, assault vehicles, RVR and many other things. Nevertheless, the game still impressed me deeply. I am pretty looking forward to its next test. By Stan As a third person shooter game, Wild Planet features a combat system that enables players to attack without targeting any specific unit. Only 1 group of servers was available for the first closed beta test. On the whole, the game ran quite smoothly, though sometimes I could not get any response from the server. http://tiny.cc/i7jam <<<< more info
