I downloaded Halo: Reach for my xbox 360 and I am playing it right now, its pretty nice, I would say the best halo since halo 1. But than again its only the beta but so far I like the graphics and the guns.

Halo 3? Hell no. More like halo 1. Its not just retextured, its much better. Just that the ghost effect kinda kills it imo, wish they took that off but its nothing big. If your a real halo fan you would know the 1st one was the best one and finally they F***ing brought back the original magnum with zoom. Plus now you don't jump as high as the other ones and you can run. The needler gun is pretty neat with scope.

All of those things are tiny changes.
Its Retextured with some tiny mods, and the Graphics are exactly the same as Halo 3

Saying it's just Halo 3 is pretty ignorant.
Of course it's not going to be a completely new game as it's still going to be a Halo after all.
But the armour abilities such as jet pack and sprint are really cool, the weapons are better (more of them and more balanced with no duel weilding and neediler has been nerfed) the load outs are a nice change than just starting with the assult rifle (which is pretty sweet now).
I like the new game types too we don't have access to them all however I've seen vids and they look fun.

The graphics have been improved aswel which is always nice.

His point was that there's little to no progression in the series, and your counter is, "It's more like Halo 1"?

I trust the flaw need not be made evident.
