Grim felt a burst of relif as syn nodded, not questioning it - for now. "Thank god." He thought, out loud. Atleast that saves an explanation... He thought, keeping them from spilling from his lips slightly. He clenched his fists, seeming exasperated with the lights. Truth be told, he was neutral. However, if they had put lives in danger, or killed any innocents like he had once done...

((Bit of a violent scene coming up, beware. ))

"You really need to be more careful, Nirin!" Grim teased, standing at the same height as the nine year old girl. His arms folded in a teasingly scolding way as he pouted. Watching her as she got up slowly, shaking. Grim hadn't seen the damage the fall had done to his childhood friend, though it didn't seem bad.

"I... Think I'm bleeding..." She murmered, though it was more suprised than hurt, she stood up. Turning around to him, a happy look spreading across her face. "I'll be fine!"

"Bl...Bleeding?" Grim said shakily, staring at the red liquid dripping from her knee. It... Looked sweet. Smelled.. Sweet. He found himself entranced by how the fake sun reflected off it, as the trickle of the crimson water leaked down her thigh. "I've... Never seen blood before..." He murmered, his voice rather different as his feet dragged listlessly, as if in a dream-like state, towards her.

Somthing dark was awakening within him, but he didn't know. If he had just forced it down that day, if he had just not let his curiosity get the better of him...

"G-Grim?" She stammed, her eyes wide and fearful. "You're scaring me....!" She exclaimed, holding her hands up defensivley, but it was too late. Much, much too late.

Grim stopped, and began to laugh. It started off as a suprised chuckle at first, then spread. And spread. And spread. It became a chorus of cruel 'ha's, as he began to burst into a sinister laughter. Laughter that seemed to come from somewhere else, laughter that didn't suit the child's face. Laughter that didn't seem to be his - it leapt from his throat with increasing fluidity as the dark presence started to overtake his mind.

"Blood, blood, blood!" He yelled, as his hands clasp around her throat. Her cries cut short by the restricting handles.

Grim winced as the memory came back to him, he shoved it from his mind as he tried to continue. He looked up to the sunset sky. Sighing deeply, he shook his head. I wonder if she's forgiven me... He murmered, before his fists clenched with a renewed vigour as he stared ahead.

(Nope I havn't left this rp yet, glad I got some free time to write this during school.)

Focusing on the sound of the waterfall it felt like it wasn’t all coming from it anymore. Opening his eyes he stood up, walked a few paces away from the waterfall to not let it fuddle up his hearing and listened. Yes there was indeed something, and it was coming from the direction of that hill. Maybe the students had a party over there after all, not wishing to participate but being slightly curios he started walking over there.

There were quite a few more people up there than the first two he had seen when first looking, by the look of it one of them were Blue. Then he and another one slid down, getting out of his view.

As he got up on the hill any idea of it being a party instantly vanished as his eyes screamed at him that they were telling the truth while the brain first stubbornly refused, then went into a defeated acceptance.
There were just too many lights up there, stretching for several miles. One thing he knew for sure, this wasn’t a party.

Realizing he had just been staring at the scene in front of him, equally beautiful in the evening light as terrifying, and pulled himself together.
It seemed the people here were equally surprised as him, if not more, so it didn’t seem like they had heard anything, coincidences were a scary thing.

Despite hating asking the obvious questions he felt like he had to, this was too big for him to just be thinking clearly “what is this?” he asked to the people around him, sounding a lot more confident than he felt.

Syn stood in awe for a second. Her mind raced. None of it made sense. Nothing was normal. She still couldn't get that strange comment out of her head that Grim had said. Her eyes were frosted over with so much confusion, they just continued to stare out into the illuminous lights. Syn looked to Lukah, questioningly.

"What... What is going on?" she asked him. After moments she realized it was no use, he had a look in him, a frightened look. He didn't know a thing.

Only minutes later, another figure appeared. Syn continued to stare out then shook herself out of it. She looked to the guy, sizing him up. "Does it look like we know?" she asked, her voice not as mellow as usual, swinging out her arm towards the lights. Her pissed off side was coming. Syn sighed heavily.

"I'm going..." she decided. She turned to the other two. "You can either come now or be left behind, your choice," she stared them both down. Grim and Blue weren't going to have fun without her, and she had to know what was going on. Not knowing always bothered her.

"I.... I don't know."
Lukah's voice was shaky. You could hear that he was scared.
It wasn't that he was scared of humans. He had close encounters with some, but hasn't been afraid. Not once! He battled animals too, ferocious ones. And yet this light parade in the forest made his bones shiver.

He looked at the girl, seeing that she didn't have a clue of the situation either.
A boy arrived behind him, Lukah turned to face him. From his lips came exactly the same question. There was a moment of silence, and the girl decided to take some action.
"Count me in", he said. His voice had a touch of determination in it.
As soon as he said that, he slid down the hillside to meet with the Marauder and the third boy. He really needed to learn their names.
He was now on their position. The best view, but still hidden from the forest.

The only reason for his question, which Esli had to admit was, as far as he remembered one of the dumbest he had ever asked, was a rather snappy answer from a hooded dark haired girl.

Oh well, he could admit when he was in the wrong, he would have done the same.
Still, despite her not knowing what was happening, most likely the same going for the boy who was accompanying her, a pair perhaps? They both still decided to check out what was happening.

“Oh well" he muttered to himself, "if I leave now it bug me for at least a month".

Sliding down the hillside after them he soon saw Blue who had earlier went down there and another guy, while he didn’t knew too many names at school he couldn’t have avoided knowing of their marauder.

From what he knew they were murderous bunch, though from what he understood it wasn’t like most soldiers who had a choice, they having their sanity. Most people who became marauders had, one way or another some physiological problem, it was more like a disease really, one of the mind he could not fix but still.

Realizing he had been staring he switched target, he had given a diagnosis without even thinking again, and staring too long at one of them might not be one of the best ideas either he realized. And so he looked down from their position, at the play that was being displayed beneath them.

(Tired and not that much coming to mind on what to write, never a good combination.)

((Sorry dude. When I got back, alot of stuff happened and I havent been on much. I wont be on much in the next week either. When I get back though, Ill be thinking about more of a.... non fantasy type of roleplay. Sad this one died, I have been just to busy to continue. Obviously I would like to continue to RP, but atm cant. Ill be back though ))
