((This is "kind of" a remake off of the previous colony. I had final exams, so I left in the middle of the last RP. Sorry about that.

This one is gonna add a few more rules, storyline, ideas and such. Anyone is free to join. THIS IS BOTH A STORY DRIVEN and SLIGHT ACTION. There will be no mindless action. I think those kind of RP's die really fast. This will have action, but I hope for it to have a strong story with interesting characters.))

~~HISTORY~~



The year is 2240, and the world is at war. This war is not your ordinary war though. During the year 2101, the first colony was built in outer space. Overpopulation forced scientists to create the first colony in space. They were able to figure out a way to sustain life in a "Earth" like environment. They made it so it looked and felt like Earth, with weather and the sky changing. The scientists called them colonies. By the year 2120, the first human race was living within the colony of Tivash. Here, they were able to sustain life without the aid of Earth. This though, was thought to be the beginning of when it all happened.

By the year 2190, there were multiple colonies throughout our universe, each acting independently, but within the title of Earth. Soon though this would change. By 2200, the war began. The people of Tivash sought to take control of their own economy, and wished be be separated from those down on Earth. The Council, those who claimed to control the colonies from Earth, claimed outrage and would not give in to the Tivash demands. Soon riots broke out on the streets of Tivash. The Earth forces that were stationed there were not able to quell the riots. This was was the first shot was made. An Earth solider was trying to hold back a crowd of rioters from entering the Earth Embassy on Tivash. As they started to push through a discharge of a rifle from the soldier hit a little girl present within the crowd. As the crowd got quiet, one man yelled "THE HAVE KILLED A LITTLE GIRL". At that the crowd charged the embassy in rage and a full out fight broke out, many people dieing. The Council, seeing a threat to their nature of ruling and claimed the colonists would attack Earth next, sent out forces within the new space battleship, Galexia towards the colony. As the ship was stationed right outside the colony, General Hugh gave the order to fire. Nothing was left after the newly invented ship finished launching its attack. A few years later, the colonies entered a pack called The Freedom Act. Within this, all colonies within the pack would work together to maintain their freedom. As this happened, they started to work together to create their own battleships, ready to avenge their brother colony Tivash.


~~PRESENT DAY~~

You are on the neutral colony of Lyon. Lyon opted not to join either side of the fighting, but soon things may change. There are more and more riots on the streets after the assassination of the president. He was sent by the Earth Council to govern the colony but he wasnt as strict as other Council wanted him to be. He thought of the people as a family and most loved him. Suspecting treason, word behind the scenes said the Council had him assassinated and another puppet put in his place. This one wasnt as nice.


~~SCHOOL AND OCCUPATION~~

Like every other citizen of Lyon, you are expected to attend a military school. This is located outside of the city, mostly secluded in the Forest of Ashire. There is just one road that runs its way from the school to the rest of the city. Next to the school, is the St. Lawrence Airbase. Here is were pilots and other workers can get a feel for real military life. Within this certain military school, Yore, there a wide range of professions.

Choose One From Below: (if there isnt something you wanna be, pm me. Also these are just basic, hence why there is no description. Also there is no limit on each one of these. For example, if 2 people want to be pilots, that is not a problem)

Everyone at Yore is required to have some sort of combat abilities. So even if you are a cook, you will have to know the basics of shooting a weapon.

((There are no Gundams or Mechas or anything of that sort in this roleplay. There are ships, which some of them do have guns on, but most of the time if there is fighting, its human vs human. We all are starting off at Yore. We will go to school there for a day or so hopefully. Everyone who is visiting from earth for military life or other (mostly Earth Apologists) where a green jacket. People who live on the colony all their life or considered to be Lyon residents wear blue jackets.

I know some of you might remember this RP from before. This one is going to be similar but with a different storyline. My one rule is that, please no 1 sentence post. I hope most posts can be somewhat descriptive.))

Gender: Male

Class Year: 3

Occupation: Strategist

Personality: One thing that others might now know about him, but his teachers due.... he is very smart...highly intelligent smart. Thing is that his lazy side gets the best of him. During most exams that has to do with any kind of study, he is near last in his class. He finds studying "troublesome" and thinks its a total waste of his time. On the opposite end, any kind of classes that are more focused on leadership or strategic focus, he is one of the best. His mind can think at a incredible speed, putting his enemies at a disadvantage. He is trained in weaponry, but is focused more on street fighting and using his fists. Due to his childhood, where he had to defend his family, and mostly his little sister, he had to teach himself how to fight.

History: His mother is a Earth Apologist, and his father is a Colony Apologist. Even though their political views greatly differed, when his mother came over as a Earth investigator, they met and fell in love. His father was a chief of the local police and it was love at first sight. This though has been very hard on Blue. Due to his associations with a Earth Apologist, many have criticized him, and at times attacked his family an household. Due to the troubles of the police force, his father was out alot trying to settle the riots in the streets. Blue was left to defend his mother and sister. With the few friends he had (they were all Neutral also), they were able to teach him how to fight and defend for himself. At 14, his father was hit in the head when trying to quell a riot, which knocked him into a coma. Its been 5 years since then and his father has not come out of it. His beautiful mother who had golden blond hair now had streaks of gray from worrying about her husband. Still though the doctors would look at her funny, and even at times make fun of her right infront of her still husband. She though would take it and continue to look into her lover's face, hoping that he would soon wake. How can everyone claim eachother to be evil? How could an Earth Apologist, who's only difference was her political view, and background, be treated so harshly?

Blue is now currently a 3rd year at Yore and in the Strategist department. The only reason he joined was because he wanted to stop this war.

Personality: He is very up beat and optimistic, But not much one for fighting a lot, Never the less, When it comes down to it, He will pull the trigger first.

History: He was born on the Colony, Raised here, All his life, He has never known life outside the Colony. When he was twelve, He lost his ability to speak. Shortly after, he received weapons training in pistols but that was it, He decided to teach himself how to knife fight. His family is the Nemal Family, A quite rich but not that well known family that keeps a low profile.His father promised him he would receive a Transport ship which carried 6 Passenger Capacity and one small turrent

Personality: David is a little lazy, he is very kind towards people. He likes to play games that make you think. He likes to help out people in need. David loves to paint and do other types of art. David doesn't like using violence, but he wont hesitate to defend himself or a friend.

Appearance:
David's hair is a light brown color, he stands about 5 feet ten inches tall. He weighs roughly 140 lbs. his eyes are dark blue. he has a scar on his right cheek.

History: David is the son of Alfred Milanesi and Emma Milanesi, David's father and Grandfather were both scientist, and David was expected to be one as well. David's mother Emma was a talented artist, she taught David all types of things about Art, It was and still is his favorite thing in the world. while growing up David was pushed to study and practice all types of sciences by his father. David was a natural at science, his best was Chemistry and David decided he was going to go to school and study Engineering. But he also wants to keep studying Art, David always has mental conflicts over what is expected and what he truly wants.

Name: Grim Maytir

Age: 21

Gender: Male.

Class Year: 3

Occupation: Marauder.

Marauders were founded when the colony decided that there should be a use for their more... 'Unstable' citizens. Those that revelled in blood, the murderers, the psycopaths and the crazies, were channeled to a special teaching facility in the school with the top psychiatrists of the nation. First, they were taught to harness their rage and direct it.

After this, they shipped those who they thought couldn't control their rages and repent for their crimes back to the ward. There are, as a circumstance, very few Marauders in the school. After they passed this stage, they are then given classes on melee weapons and how to harness them, as well as basic gun instructions.

Most would say it is a strategy to make your opponent made so he makes a mistake. Those who are named "Marauders" drink that anger up and use it to their advantage. They are unstable, sometimes treacherous, but if you get on their good side they are a fiercly loyal and deadly in hand-to-hand combat with any crude weapons they can get their hands on.

They do, of course, know how to use your standard pistol, but they barely ever do so.


Personality: Insane, unstable, and just plain batshit crazy, Grim seems honest in his desire to repent, but... At the smell, or sight of blood, he flips out and will harm anyone close to him.

Though when he is not in one of his rages, he seems calm and... If you catch him without looking, there is a wrenching sadness in his eyes.

Appearance:

Side: Neutral.

History: After a long string of murders in the colony, Grim was shoved into a psychiatric ward at the age of 14, Grim as been living a life of solutide and repentance, but whenever he sets his eyes, or smells blood, it seems to be some form of trigger for him.

When the council started their new "Marauder" program, Grim was one of the first to be picked off the list. Natrually, the man jumped at the opportunity, and has since learnt to somewhat control his rages, however, just make sure you under no circumstances bleed when you're around him.

He is generally hated by the Colony, yet when he is attacked by those who'se family members he has killed, he ignores them, completely. A saddened look in his eyes - though, attack him when he has nothing to owe you, and you may just find yourself with a few broken bones.

Name: Lukah Stonemantle

Gender: Male

Class Year: 1st year

Occupation: Engineer

Personality: Mild personality, stubborn, one could say patriotic.

Appearance: Brown eyes and hair. Slightly tanned. Has strong legs and rather thin arms. All-round slim. 1.8m (no idea, 6ft?), has a characteristic birthmark on his left cheek in the form of a small 5-edged star. He has a white shirt and torn green jacket.

Side: Neutral

History: Lukah's grandparents came from Earth seeking better life. They were one of the first families to colonize Lyon. His parents and he were all born on Lyon.
His father was a teacher at the university, and his mother was a housewife. They both died in an accident when Lukah was only 10. Lukah got the job of a wildlife protector, if you will. His job was to make sure the animals in Ashire forest were given a normal life, as close resembling to that on Earth as possible.
After 3 years in service he decided to learn mechanics and become an engineer.

Personality: quiet, very smart, quick

History: Born of Earth, his father was a secret agent for Earth. his father trained him to be stealthy when he was young. He loved his father and mother more then anything. he also has a child hood sweet heart who was forced to move to a colony. that was when he started to get depressed. then when his parents died and he was still 16 he started to take pills to relieve some of the depression. He has been learning in his fathers footsteps to restore order ever since his parents were killed. the one thing that keeps him alive is the thought that his love is still alive out there.
