I've been reading alot of articles and checking out game reviews lately, it doesnt seem like the gaming community is near as hardcore as when i played diablo back in 1999.
The most important is gameplay and how the game respons is when i hit the buttons on my keyboard. Like WoW and diablo no other has been able to give that good feeling of having good gameplay and good respons with the mechanics of the game. So it's hard to me to understand why games where you can only bind F1-F10 can get so much hype on them? People get fooled by eyecandy graphics poor gameplay poor respons from ur F1 binds wich already is to far away from the fingers.... I just say this for upcoming reviews either it's a post or video to please consider keybinds / respons from the game is it comparable to any other game or is it just to slow / not smooth at all? And if any developers read this, you should understand hardcore people never want F1-F12 keybinds and never will so stop making those games Dont claim your hardcore and use F1-f12 binds it doesnt fit hardcore logic. For a review or a good game the most important for me is Gameplay, Mechanics, Respons and Key custimation (F1-F12 not good enough) Most people dont even know you can bind Teleport to D or Telekinese to Z in diablo.. Quite sad to see new games come out with less intelligence.. Where has all the trading gone anyway? Peace & love Last edited by prilletime; 05-09-2010 at 08:36 PM. |

The thing is that journalists like me try to express our opinion of the game in an objective and formal way. You might not be a fan of such keys, but others might be. We try to explain how the game works and often include our own opinion. That's basically how a review works. You can't expect us journalists to write whatever you like.

To echo what Moa said, our journalists don't always have enough time or space to address every aspect of a game.
To get this sort of information is why we provided a board: ask on the appropriate forum for a game about what you want to know about key binding, or anything else you would like to know that's not covered in a review. Fact is, though, most gamers don't care enough about keybinding for our Journalists to take time to address it in their reviews. Hope you understand. Thanks. |
