Wolf walked out in cold blood. An followed his example.
She walked down to the nearest bus station and waited for a no. 23 bus to come.

Wolf finished his drink, it had been disgusting, and went back to where he had seen Cody. "Don't struggle, don't argue, just come with me." Wolf whispered in her ear as he grabbed her.
"What are you doing?" Asked the guy at the counter.
"Oh, this is my daughter, she tends to space out from time to time." Wolf lied. Fortunately the grab hadn't been aggressive, but he should've been more careful in public.

Cody's apparition looked just as real, and felt just as real, as she actually did.

The fake Cody nodded and smiled to the man at the counter.
"Yeah. Didn't do homework...." she eyed a bonecrunching glare at him. Just as a daughter would do. The Fake Cody got up and obeyed.

Cody ate her drink obediantly. She watched amused as Sword guy fell for it. Placing her coffee down on the wood surface, she smiled sweet and innocent, placing down the money.

"Thanks, I'll come again."

She stood up and her cargo pants still laid under sneakers. She waved, half-heartedly and walked outside. A bench stood, blending in with the others, and it's view was perfect for watching... herself. She sat and made a simple book appear, its cover red, gold written words reading The Luck. She kept her eyes on Sword guy, her marsh like green eyes... intently on him. She couldn't mess it up... if she did...

This isn't right, why is she cooperating? Is it because we are in public? Wolf thought worridly. He decided to go along with it, after all this could be the right person, and took her outside. "The way I see it you're either the real one, or not, I know that's elementary, but because you're a mutant it's different." They were in a back alley now, away from prying eyes. "You can't keep up your act without the real one though can you? So we'll just sit here and wait until you come out." From here Wolf could see the entrance, now he just had to wait.

The Fake Cody was silent, standing still, and lifeless.

Cody noticed them leave and closed her book. She threw back her book, only for it to dissapear before it hit the ground. A flicker of thought crossed her mind randomly... Where's An? She shook her head and stood up. Her appearance changed back to normal, and she gave a flip to her read streaked hair. She tipped her hat, her normal way, and gave a smirk.

"Ready or not hear i come..." she sung.

Cody walked nearby Sword, and luckily he hadn't looked back. After so long, people began filling the streets. Jostled and pushed, she lost her way. Finding a bench, she nearly fell into the seat.

"That's it..."

She stood up and turned into a white cat. She flicked her tail, triumphantly. She jumped, very agile, onto the windowsill. Climbing up onto the roof she managed to find Sword guy. She also noticed her lifeless body. She wanted desperately to smack her face. She laid and tuned herself in.

Fake Cody~

Fake cody shook her head.

"Hmm? Sorry spaced. Ya need something? I was sort of eating, Daddy."

Her hands fell onto her hips and she gave him an impatient glare. Fake Cody was sticking around until she knew for sure that he didn't believe in her. Fake Cody cocked an eye brow at him.

"Gonna answer anytime soon?"

"Did you space, or did you lose connection to the real Cody." Wolf was sure now that this one was fake. A thought came to him, it wasn't like him, it was cruel, but she was just a mutant. "You care about Coaquette, right? She was the sweeper girl at the shop. What would you do if I said I could bring you to her?" Wolf looked around for a little white cat, He saw her, on a roof watching, he pretended not to notice. Gotcha, now is the time for the wolf to hunt. Wolf thought maliciously.

Cody caught a glimpse. The slightest glimpse. Fake cody smiled, nearly cruel, very dissapointed.

"Fine. Play dirty huh? Thought you might actually be different..."

The Fake Cody did a bow and vanished.

Soon after Cody stood up and hissed. She flicked her tail. She hopped over multiple roofs and on the last one, she sat. Her form morphed, once again, back into herself. Her eyes glimmered, almost sad. She kept tears from flooding her eyes. Red and burnette shimmered in the sun from under her ball cap. She shoved her legs over the side and let them hang along the edge herself. Cody hunched over, looking over the edge. Watching, some people here, then there, look the same one again! And so on.

Antoanette went home. She was being careful not to get followed, and there was no real chance she failed at that. Years of experience made her almost untraceable. There were two things on her mind.

First one was that Taboo, that succeeded in tracking her down. He did something that nobody before him even tried, let alone did. She had to make some preparations if the Taboo was to return.

She finally got to her apartment door, and carefully opened all the locks after deactivating the alarm system.

The other thing on her mind was even more disturbing. When the mutant attacked her in the caffee, it left a long thin mark on her arm.
An wasn't sure what kind of mutant that was, and she planned on contacting the department of toxicology as soon as she got inside.

It was a long day in front of her, but at least she didn't have a job to go back to tomorrow!

Wolf felt... bad The mutant's, Cody's, words actually hurt. He had seen her, but there was no way he could get up there, so he walked back, not to his house, but to the wrecked breakfast house. He doubted Crow was still there but just in case he went to the other side. Right before he got there though his phone went off. "Looks like I forgot work" Wolf muttered, and headed to the garage.

Cody's mind blanked off. It seemed to take moments, minutes, then hours to regain consciuousness again. Her eyes fluttered, dazed. The azure color stood out amoung her bright self. Pushing off the roof she grabbed the gutter then dropped gracefully down to the surface. Something strange had happened. She had been on the caffe's roof. A morbid smile crept up her face. She turned her gaze behind her, and her body followed behind. Cody's mind was preoccupied. She yawned, her spirits were back. Not only that but her mind raced about wondering where An was. She guessed that An lived somewhere in the apartments. From the roof she had seen her go that way. It was risky but... she never really cared. Cody ran on toward the apartments. She knew she was somewhere in the building.

Flinging the door open, Cody stood there for a split second. Her mind reconnected with her body and raced up toward the stairs.

"An? An! You here?"

Her voice echoed through the labrynth of hallways. Head turning, heart racing, feet burning, she ran up toward the next flight, yelling the exact same thing. Over and over she repeated, even going back downwards after reaching the top. She was going to be her personal pest until she answered.
