Lol sorry I shouldn't bother either bad topic to get into. I'm just pretty curious because I'm getting a little tired of it.

The ideal of Affirmative Action has nothing to do with the ideal of "Black Power". Black Power supports the idea of black people helping themselves and overcoming the struggles of the past, whereas affirmative action is asking for a change in the governement to give minorities the oppurtunies once exclusively held by white people in America.

I don't believe in affirmative action either, but don't compare it with Black Power. They aren't the same idea.
