Corporal Hinks breathed silently, hopping around the corner and aiming his assault rifle down the hall. "Clear." he said into his com, motioning for his fellow soldiers to go down the hallway. They followed his command, cautiously trooping down the hallway, rifles at the ready. They reached the end of the hallway, pressing the button for the elevator. They were all completely silent. As soon as the elevator hit their floor, all the lights went out, leaving only the light that came from the elevator. Everyone stood still, aiming at the empty room. Not a single sound was made, and they all slowly crept into the tiny room. The door closed, and the lights went out again. Nothing was visible as something growled, then within ten seconds the small room held nothing but the dead.

Silena Hernandez walked through the hallway, when she heard the elevator ding. That elevator wasn't supposed to be operational. She stood, looking at it, when the door opened, and Silena dropped dead, never seeing the inside of the elevator. Never seeing the monstrous being that had torn through her head and destroyed every part of her brain with nothing but a quick swipe. Hours later, a helicopter came in, holding the soldiers sent to deal with whatever had killed everybody in the facility, and somehow locked it down tight. They were told nothing. They dropped from the helicopter, preparing to enter the facility which they had been told nothing about, preparing to face an enemy they knew nothing about, and unknowingly preparing to lose every ounce of humanity or die. Humans don't survive. Demons do.

History: Her parents were one american and one japanese woman, with her first name being taken as american and her last name being taken as japanese. She lived quite normally for several years before she noticed the ability of the american military. She then drove forward in her studies, and joined the army as soon as she turned eighteen, at the protests of her parents. Over several years she proved that she was an adept soldier and soon she was being put into possitions of control. She proved her leadership abilities in a certain attack, leading dozens of soldiers to saftey. When the higher-ups were looking for someone that would take on a mission without a second thought, they looked at her, and she was decided to go on "Operation: Shadowed Death."

In the United States Army, although there are several ranks of sergeant, the lowest carries the title of Sergeant (SGT). Newly promoted Sergeants are known as "buck sergeants". Sergeant is the enlisted rank in the U.S. Army above specialist and corporal and below staff sergeant, and is the second-lowest grade of non-commissioned officer. Sergeants in the infantry for example lead fire teams of four men. There are two fire teams in a 9-man rifle squad, which is led by a staff sergeant.

In the United States Army, sergeants, staff sergeants, sergeants first class, and master sergeants are typically referred to in short form by their subordinates as "Sergeant", except in some training environments, such as the Airborne or Air Assault courses. Another exception is for sergeants first class or master sergeants serving as acting first sergeant. These soldiers, regardless of rank, will be addressed as First Sergeant.

Drill sergeants are typically addressed as "Drill Sergeant" or "Senior Drill Sergeant" regardless of rank, though this term is used depending on post policy. Appearance: Short and slim, that's what makes him stand out. Muscular all over but hard to spot out for it. Face armed with sharp lines and deep dark eyes, on top of which a thin line of dark hair splits his head in two halves from his face to the back of his head.
His dressed in the army special fatigues them being a lot darker in colour than normal ones.
History: He was an army man from when he was little, but unlike the other kids he had a strong feel for deploying tactics. He showed that multiple times in his training, but because of his bad behavior and disrespect for officers he was doomed to be a trooper for the rest of his career.

IMI Uzi submachine gun.
Appearance: Thin and lanky, with a preference to dark gray clothes. He has fiery red hair and light blue eyes.
History: Raoul has worked independantly as a scientist for several years, but the lack of funding and permission hugely restricted him. However, his research was.... questionable at best. The U.S. government arrested him and shut his work down. In order to avoid doing time, he decided to go on this mission to investigate. However, he's pretty bitter about the whole deal and has no problems with voicing that.

Accepted, but remember that you have no training. If you fire off ten bullets at your target, maybe three would hit, in most cases. Because, while this will get extremely unrealistic later on, the weapon use shall stay the same level of realism throughout the RP.
