Phoenix raised an eyebrow, "You know why I joined. My old life was destroyed in a fire," she paused, "no, it was a hurricane." Shaking her head, she stared at Zeke, "Either way, I joined the Green Knights because they were there for me. Something you wouldn't know about."

She knew that she shouldn't even answer his questions. But Phoenix wanted to be able to look this monster in the eye and be honest. "I love that place with every part of my immortal being."

"you know nothing about me" Zeke muttered, turning his head to look at her "every one here... well almost every one is there for every one else, for example, my Partener, Raiden, and I are, always have been and always will be the best of friends, we were close to being brothers once..." he turned his head away, remembering his sister.

"Oh?" Phoenix sat up again, "What happened there?" She chuckled, "Did you have a go with his sister or something?" She considered, "You'd have to feel sorry for the poor girl though, no doubt she looked all robotic and sickly too?"

She chuckled and leant upon her hand which she pressed into the bed. "No can i please be untied? Or are you really that into bondage?"

zeke flicked his wrist and Pheonix was untied, and unstrapped "She died, and it was before he was a cyborg" Zeke said, he had heard all the jokes at least twice before, making it more annoying then upsetting when people made jokes "our whole crew died except me and him... i thought he died too... i was brought back to base and when i healed i went to find them again... all i could find was Jack's head attatched to he cyborg thing"

Phoenix fought hard, and failed, to hide her snicker. "So...he just..." She fought to keep a straight face, "appeared as a cyborg?" She failed completely and burst out laughing, "He just lost his head!"

<Two minutes later>

Phoenix wiped a tear from her eye and finally brought her laughter under control. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." She coughed and stared at Zeke, "So I get why he didn't die." She bit her lip to stop a giggle again, "but why didn't you? More importantly, why did that affect your big male bonding session?"

Zeke was starting to get a bit annoyed, he sat up, keeping his body on the bed next to Phoenix's while she laughed for two minutes straight, once she stopped he stood "if your going to be a *itch im not going to talk to you... ill just let you die like the rest of the traitors and enemies."

Zeke moved the lock of hair that fell into his face "see ya in hell" he muttered walking towards the door, wishing he never opened up, in the first place, it never went right for him any ways.

Phoenix thought about winding the poor man up some more, for a telepath he wasn't very perceptive. Deciding against it, she sighed. "Oh don't leave, I'll be good I promise."

She crossed her heart with her hand and sat on the bed looking like a little girl, hanging her legs and swinging them from the bed.

Zeke was still facing away, when she spoke, he made a little motion like he was playing a piano before turning back to her, "so, tell me..." he said sitting down again, looking directly into Pheonix's eyes, "have you any interest in joining TAROT? for real this time?"
